Function?

My pair of Nikes are not functional to me for their intended purpose because they are massive and if I wore them to go for a run or a bike ride or to do long jump in, I would surely fall flat on my face. Discovering a new purpose for them is my main objective.

Keeping sport in mind.

My Pair

These are my pair of Nike Shoes . They are very big (size 9.5) and silver. They look space-like and futuristic, a bit like a vision that someone had in 1978 when asked the question "What do you think trainers will look like in 2010?"

This blog is to document my ideas and thoughts for NIKE78, an exciting project I have been invited to take part in.

NIKE78 is run by Paul Jenkins in association with Nike, asking 78 creatives to challenge the function of a pair of Nike trainers, using sport as inspiration.
